Introduction Buuveit is located in the Orkhontuul soum of Selenge province, 480 km from Ulaanbaatar city, 20 km southeast of Orkhontuul soum. There are telecommunications, hospital services, public schools, petrol stations, power stations, hotels and shops located in the soum center. The area has shallow hills but no rivers or springs. The area has seasonal weather with large temperature swings between winter and summer. In the summer average temperature is 39oC and in the winter snow is much lower. Wind speeds can reach 25m/sec and average speed is 3 m/sec from northwest to south. |

Introduction Zavsar is located 75 km from Noen soum, 105 km southwest of Bayandalai soum and 145 km southwest of Dalanzadgad. The geography of this region is typically desert with sandy and brown sandy dirt, small hills and undulating land. The area is sparsely covered with flora due to low precipitation throughout the year while the temperature swings are extreme ranging from -39oC in the winter to 50oC in the summer. The spring tends to have strong wind from the north and northwest, and occasionally wind storms can cause periods of brown outs. Gazarin Emjeer LLC located in Bayaydalai soum in Umnugobi aimag was granted a license in order to explore for coal on March 24th, 2008, and the license was transferred to Belgravia Mining on April 17th, 2009 by order of the Geology and Mining Cadastre Division. |

Introduction Khongor 2 is located in the Shine Jinst and Bayan-Undur soum of Bayankhongor aimag and a license was granted on 9th September, 2008 by the Geology, Mining Cadastre Division to conduct geological study and exploration. The exploration area covers 5045 hectares 950 km from Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia and 50km from Shine Jinst soum, and 210 km from the border of Mongolia and China. The exploration area covers 70012 hectares and the area is gobi-steppe and semi-desert landshaft. |

Introduction Khongor 1 is located in Shine Jinst soum, Bayankhongor. Initially, the license was issued on 4th September, 2008 by the Geology and Mining Cadastre Division. The area covers 70012 hectares in total. The exploration area is approximately 950 km from Ulaanbaatar and 210 km from the Chinese border. The area is a gobi – desert and half- desert landshaft. The weather conditions are extremely dry and hot with a rainfall level of circa 64 – 70mm per annum. |
