Mongolian Metals Corporation LLC (MMC) is a Mongolian mining company with a portfolio of exploration licenses representing significant deposits of copper, gold, molybdenum, coal and quartz across four aimags of Mongolia. The company also benefits from strong ongoing access to further license acquisition opportunities. MMC is a spin-off from Asia Pacific Investment Partners.
MMC was founded in April 2008 and has to date acquired four exploration licenses in Mongolia. Aggregate investment into MMC since at 31st December 2008 totaled circa US$6.4 million. Investment into the business has to date been 100% financed by Asia Pacific Investment Partners Corporation Ltd (APIP).

The Khongor copper-gold-molybdenum prospect is located 900 km to southwest from the Ulaanbaatar city, on the territory of Shinejinst and Bayan-Undur countries of Bayankhongor province. The provincial center, Bayankhongor town is located 280 km to northeast from the prospect area. The Khongor copper-gold-molybdenum prospect consists of two main exploration license areas, as Khongor and Khongor - 1. The Khongor - 1 exploration license area is representing main part of the prospect area with total 70012 hectare, approximately 30 km by 10-15km. The Khongor exploration license relative smaller with total 5045 hectare area, approximately 3.0km by 1.5km, locating on northwestern extension of the main exploration license area.
